Airbus A330
Airbus A330 is a twin engine based wide-bodied aircraft. This is a commercial plane that has middle to long range capabilities. More than 600 units of this model have been delivered to different airlines across the world. The flight was first launched in the year 1987 and the launch date was 2nd November 1992. The first order was made to air inter on December 1993. The airbus A330 was developed parallel to the airbus A340 model and both of them have common wind and the fuselage design. The difference between the airbus A330 and the airbus A340 is the number of the engines used to power the aircraft and the other difference includes the variations in the internal systems. The variation in the internal system is mainly because of the difference in the design of the fuel tanks that are used. This aircraft makes use of the major technological advancements that was incorporated into the airbus A320 model, including the EFIS flight deck system and fly by wire control that could be computerized. The standard model of airbus A330-300 consists of the same fuselage length as that of the airbus A340-300 system. The airbus also studied the variations of the fuselage lengths by designing the airbus A330-100, airbus A330-200, which are the shortened versions and they also designed the airbus A330-400, which is the lengthened version. The shortened version was finally launched in the year 1996 to compete with the long range 767-300ER produced by the Boeing. The total capacity of the aircraft stood at 440 under high density concentration. It can support a flight crew of two members. The wing span measured 60.30 meter. The length and the height of the flight are 63.69 meter and 16.83 meter respectively. The cargo at the rear underbelly has a capacity to hold around 11 pallets.
