Airbus A300 is the world’s first aircraft that is produced using the twin engines. The size of the aircraft ranges from the short to medium size. This aircraft entered into service in the year 1974. At that point of time, the airbus A300 was considered to be a technological marvel and some of the technologies were derived from the Concorde. The design of this aircraft was considered superior to an extent that the other supersonic aircraft manufacturers were greatly influenced by the technology. Some of the advanced technology of this aircrafts includes the advanced wings that were developed by the de Havilland, presently known as the BAE systems. The supercritical section of airfoil made it possible to achieve great economy in the performance. The diameter of A300 was in the range of 5.63 meters.

This model of the airbus had a seating capacity of 250. The aircraft was designed to accommodate 6 passengers in each row of the first class, 7 passengers in each row of the Business class and 8 people in each row of the economy class and Online games. This model also had the capacity to accommodate 20 cargo containers. The first delivery of the flight was made to air France. The route of the first flight was between Paris and London. At the beginning stage, the flight had the potential to travel only 2975 km, but the later version of the flight was able to travel 4820 km. This development was of great use for covering long distances without any intermediate stops. The seating The overall capacity of the developed version was also increased to the 270 mark. The primary users of this flight were the Japan airlines, FedEx airlines, UPS airlines and the Korean airlines. In the year 2007, the production of the airbus A300 was ceased along with the Airbus A310 model. Totally 561 units of this aircraft was built.
